Lucas Beineke
Lucas is Wednesday Addams’ new boyfriend. At first glance, he and his family could not seem more different from Wednesday and the eccentric Addams family to which she belongs.
He grew up in Ohio, where his father, Mal, owns a construction company. His mother, Alice, is an impossibly positive housewife who loves to rhyme. He, the product of these “normal” parents, is a rather wholesome, normal young man -- which is precisely what makes him an odd choice for an Addams.
Ultimately, however, we see that he is a perfect fit for Wednesday. He is rational, optimistic, and loyal. He is passionate and adores Wednesday as much as she does him. An aspiring poet, he is drawn to her passionate and impulsive nature. She, in turn, helps him come out of his shell and live a more adventurous life, with fervor and zest.
